Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional grooming services to dogs of various breeds and sizes.
• Perform grooming tasks, including bathing, brushing, cutting, and styling fur according to customer preferences or breed standards.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care throughout the grooming process.
• Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend products and services.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including equipment and tools.
• Keep detailed records of grooming appointments and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to deliver exceptional service in our dog-friendly environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Knowledge of different breeds, their specific grooming needs, and breed-specific cuts.
• Proficiency in using grooming tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their welfare.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus.

As a Doggy Day Camp Attendant at Chow Bella, you'll be responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all dogs attending our day camps. You'll supervise play sessions, engage with the dogs to keep them active and happy, and maintain a clean and organized environment. Day camps currently run Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor dogs during play sessions to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Facilitate positive interactions between dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
• Provide basic care, including feeding and watering, as needed.
• Clean and maintain play areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Communicate with pet owners about their dog's behavior and camp experience.
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and managing dog camp schedules.
• Provide lots of belly rubs and playtime!

Qualifications:

• Must love dogs and be comfortable working with various breeds and sizes.
• Previous experience in pet care, dog walking, or a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple dogs in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods.
