Dating apps are exhausting.Dogs are not.

That’s why we’re hosting Love at First Bark, a dog-approved speed dating event on Friday, February 13 starting at 6:00 PM at Chow Bella—and yes, we are especially encouraging men of all ages to join us.

If you’re single, comfortable around dogs, and open to meeting someone in real life (remember that?), keep reading.

Guys, Let’s Clear Something Up

You do not need to own a dog to attend this event.

Let us repeat that louder for the people in the back:

👉 No dog required.👉 Loving dogs = perfect. 👉 Being a decent human around dogs = essential.

Women may bring their dogs.Men may bring a dog or simply bring good energy and a sense of humor.

Dogs help break the ice, spark conversation, and make the whole thing feel natural—not forced.

What This Is (and Isn’t)

This IS:

A relaxed, social night
Real conversations
Dogs doing what they do best (making things easier)
A chance to meet someone without swiping

This is NOT:

High-pressure
A competition
A dating app in real life

How the Night Works

We’ll start with a Happy Hour mingle from 6:00–6:45 PM. Grab a drink (first one’s on us), meet some dogs, talk to people without a timer ticking.

Then we’ll move into speed dating sessions by age group:

Over 40: 6:45–7:30 PM
Ages 25–40: 7:45–8:30 PM

Each group gets its own time so things feel comfortable and easy. At the end, you’ll mark who you’d like to connect with—and if it’s mutual, we’ll take care of the follow-up.

A Few Quick Rules (Mostly About Dogs)

Dogs must be up to date on vaccines
Dogs must be on leash when not inside the dog park
Inside the park = supervised off-leash play
Comfort around dogs is required for everyone
