Find Your Pack: New Dog Playgroups at Chow Bella’s Indoor Dog Park

If not, we're about to change that.

At Chow Bella's indoor dog park in Saratoga Springs, we've always believed that dogs need more than exercise. They need opportunities to socialize, make friends, build confidence and — of course — get those zoomies out.

That's why we're introducing organized weekday playgroups to make it easier to find the best time to visit with your pup.

And don't worry: you can still visit the dog park anytime during our regular park hours. These aren't assigned time slots or reservations. They're simply organized meetup times designed to help more dogs find their crew.

🐶 Saturday Puppy Playgroup — 10:00–10:30 AM

Saturday mornings are for the puppies!

Our Puppy Playgroup meets every Saturday from 10:00–10:30 AM and is designed for puppies under six months old.

It’s a fun opportunity for young pups to meet other puppies, practice positive socialization and burn off a little puppy energy — although we're pretty sure they regenerate it on the ride home.

As with all park play, puppies must meet our vaccination requirements and first-time visitors will receive a temperament check before joining the group.

Our New Weekday Dog Park Schedule

🐾 11:00 AM — Breed Club Play

Every weekday at 11 AM, we're giving a different group of dogs the spotlight!

Our Breed Clubs bring together dogs that often share similar sizes, energy levels or play styles.

Our current lineup includes:

Tuesday — The French Connection Frenchies, Boston Terriers, Pugs, Bulldogs, mixes & friends

Wednesday — Doodle Romp Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Bernedoodles, Aussiedoodles & friends

Thursday — Herding Club Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, Corgis, Shelties, herding mixes & friends

Friday — Low Rider Club Dachshunds, Corgis, Basset Hounds, short-legged mixes & friends

And here's the important part:

Your dog does NOT have to be one of the featured breeds to come play!

Breed Club themes are simply a fun way to encourage dogs with similar play styles — and their humans — to meet one another. Friendly dogs are welcome to join us.

🐕 1:00 PM — Small Dog Social

The little dogs have spoken, and apparently they would like their own daily meeting.

Our Small Dog Social happens every weekday at 1 PM and is reserved for dogs under approximately 25 pounds.

It's a great opportunity for smaller pups to play without being overwhelmed by their much larger friends.

Tiny dogs. Big personalities. You've been warned.

🦴 3:00 PM — Big Dog Play

At 3 PM, it's time for the big kids!

Our Big Dog Play meetup gives larger dogs a chance to find playmates who can keep up with their size and energy.

Run. Wrestle. Chase. Repeat.

💨 4:30–6:00 PM — After-Work Zoomies

Your dog has been waiting for you all day.

You have things to do after work.

We think we've found a compromise.

Stop by for After-Work Zoomies from 4:30–6:00 PM and let your dog burn off some energy while you unwind and meet other Saratoga dog people.

It's a pretty good commute home.

Come When It Works for You

This may be the most important part of our new schedule: You do not have to visit during an organized playgroup. Our indoor dog park is open throughout our regular park hours, and you're welcome to visit whenever it works for you.

The new schedule simply gives everyone some predictable times when they're more likely to find other dogs ready to play.

Come for your dog's favorite meetup. Come before it. Come after it. Or just show up when your dog starts staring at you like you've ruined their entire day by not taking them anywhere.

First Time Visiting Chow Bella?

Safety is always our priority. Dogs visiting the park must be up to date on required vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper/DHPP and Bordetella.

We also perform a temperament check for all first-time park visitors before they join group play.

This helps us get to know your dog and keeps the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone.
